Teaching and Learning Advent Calendar

As part of our Teaching and Learning Team, My colleague @misslollyhill and I were assigned to create a T&L advent calendar. This was @siancarter1’s and our T&L team’s idea and we decided to make both a physical and electronic calendar.

This is what our tree looked like to start with:

Every day, we will be sharing these ideas through our twitter account: @TLMountbatten The response so far has been great. We have had responses form a range of departments: Maths, English, Science, History, MFL and Art and it’s only day 7. Our calendar started on the 2nd of December to count down the 14 days left until our school finishes for Christmas.

Here you will find all of the challenges revealed so far and later we will add some of the responses from different departments and the ways these ideas were used. The idea was each ‘challenge’ was simple and easy to include in your lessons that day and wouldn’t take too much, if any, preparation. They might be simple but we hope effective.
